We have worked on an extensive range of residential development proposals including high and medium density housing, residential subdivision, extensions to single homes, student housing, aged care and coastal development.

With commercial and industrial developments, both the use of the land and the proposed development will be assessed. We have been involved in a range of projects, including extensions to small shops, large-scale commercial and industrial developments and subdivisions. Issues that commonly arise relate to design, heritage, traffic and access, provision for car parking and impacts on neighbouring properties. With restaurants we may also need to consider the hours of operation.

Victoria has a rich architectural and cultural heritage. We have worked on many significant heritage projects from sympathetic extensions and infill development to the preservation of Victoria’s most valued historic fabric.

We have been involved in planning applications for five approved windfarms, including Victoria’s largest to date at Mt Gellibrand in western Victoria.

Some clients have required a rezoning to realise their development proposal. In other cases we have responded to planning scheme amendments proposed by local authorities, which have affected our clients’ land.

We have been involved in planning and facilitating many community consultation exercises for clients in the public sector including the introduction of ResCode, the Sustainable Neighbourhood Provisions and a wide range of animal management issues.
