Virginia has over 20 years experience as a practising planner having worked in state and local government and for other consultancies before establishing Harlock Jackson.

Virginia is an experienced statutory planner, with an enviable record in achieving successful outcomes for clients at both the application and appeal stage. She also has considerable experience in strategic planning and research with strong facilitation and community consultation skills and a focus on using the full range of town planning tools available to achieve optimal outcomes.

In 2005, her experience and contribution to the profession were recognised when she was elected a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia

Virginia is involved in all our projects. She provides professional advice and manages projects for a variety of clients and regularly appears as an expert witness at tribunal and panel hearings.

Roger joined Harlock Jackson in February 2008 following two years with the Cities of Wyndham and Maroondah and two years prior to that in planning roles in the United Kingdom. He has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Land and Spatial Information Studies from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Roger is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Planning) and has experience in a broad range of planning issues.

Kate joined Harlock Jackson in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne majoring in environmental science and geography and is currently studying for a Masters in Planning and Environment at RMIT University. In 2008, Kate undertook the Planning Institute of Australia’s Provincial Victorian Local Government Internship Program, where she worked for 6 weeks at the Indigo Shire in the statutory planning department.

Kate provides assistance on all planning applications and with the general running of the business.

Chantal is a recent graduate of the University of Melbourne where she completed a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development (and a Diploma of Modern Languages in French). While studying, Chantal worked in strategic planning which has provided a strong foundation for her work at Harlock Jackson.
